Don't you just LOVE this gingham paper???

Good Evening everyone! Sorry I wasn't able to post until now. My day has not went anything like I hoped, but that is okay :-) It always helps when you have the new cattie to look at! I just love all the new checked, striped designer paper!! Don't you just love this gingham paper?? I am also in LOVE with Riding Hood Red! I still can't decide on Kiwi Kiss :-) I haven't even touched Tangerine Tango....I may try this one this evening, maybe with the Autumn Harvest set! I can't believe this set made it into the new cattie!!! This is one of my all time favorite sets :-)

Anyway, I made this card for the Great Swaps Girls challenge GSGC11. All you needed to do was use three embellishments. I used brads, ribbon and buttons! I just LOVE how this card turned out....I really love that gingham paper!!! I also love this color combo!! If you get a chance, stop by and play the challenge!! Good Morning!! I hope everyone had a great weekend!! Mine was good....I did get lots of stamping time in! It feels great getting caught up with everything!

Anyway, todays card is for the Great Swaps Girls sketch challenge! I just LOVE Pretty in Pink and Mellow Moss together. Very soft and feminine. The half back pearls just add that little something extra, don'tch think?? :-) If you get a chance check them out and post your creation! Everyone is welcome to participate!!! Yeppers, two posts today! :-)

Today's card is for the Great Swaps Girls challenge GSGC06. We were to pick a card from the Mini Occasions catalog and case it! I chose the one on page 21 top, right corner. I changed the stamp set and than amazingly enough just one of the colors and then switched them. I think it turned out soooo pretty! I just LOVE this bird!! I of course watercolored him :-) I even added the stitching down the side!! Too cute huh??

Well I better get busy....I need to wrap up a couple of projects today and take pictures!! I hope everyone has a wondeful peaceful Sunday!! Also, don't forget to sign up for the blog candy if you haven't already!! I pick the winner tomorrow morning!!

Good Morning!!! I hope everyone is having a good week so far! Mine has been good. I am definitely looking forward to the weekend though. I have card buffet tomorrow night and I am looking forward to seeing everyone! It feels like forever since I have had an event. Though my hostess clubbers did meet last Friday! I don't really have a lot planned for the weekend so hopefully that will mean I will get a chance to stamp and scrapbook :-)

Anyway, today's card is for the sketch challenge over at Great Swap Girls!! If you haven't had a chance to check their site out you are definitely missing out! They have ongoing challenges for everyone. I just LOVE this sketch! I wanted to go with something elegant...so I definitely had to use the pearls from the SU Pretties kit! Of course, this is one of my favorite sets from the Occasions Mini! I just LOVE this flower....and of course I used my favorite technique to color it...watercoloring!! Today's cards (yes, 2!! can you believe it??LOL)....

Good Wednesday Morning!! I have two cards to share with you today!! Only by accident though :-) I was working on my card for the Great Swaps Girls sketch challenge and printed the sketch out...and came up with the top card (ruby red). So I go to post last night and realized I used the same set as Jessie. Sorry Jessie, but don't you just love this set?? :-) Anyway, I felt I needed to make another card! I had fun making both...but the bloomin beautiful card is my favorite!! My DH likes the Live your dream card best. I watercolored the bloomin beautiful image and the bee. The bee has been pop dotted, I really like how it stands out on the card. For the flowers from the Live Your Dream set I used a blender pen and reinkers to apply the color. I then cut the flower out and trimmed the stems and then used dimensionals so they pop off the card. Enjoy!!! Have a great day everyone!!!
